Ron Bowell, founding pastor of the CrossRoads Church, is a preacher/writer/musician with roots deep in Kansas soil.  Ron grew up on a farm and got into music very early in life.  His many years in rock & roll brought with it an alcohol addiction, but he was set free by Jesus in December of 1980.  He has been a preaching pastor since 1984, and was called to Salina in 1998 to plant “a church with a difference”.  He is also the author of a daily blog called “Friar Tuck’s Word of the Day”, and the author of four books.  He and his wife Kerry have been married for forty-eight years, and have five grown children and fourteen grandchildren.
