Announcements
- Tis the Operation Christmas Child Season: Pick up a box and fill it with school supplies, hygiene items, and a WOW item (toy, ball, etc.), and return by Sunday, November 24. Remember, your box may be the first gift a child ever receives, and every box brings with it the Gospel message.
- 25th Annual Dr. Temple Food Drive: This food drive benefits the Salina Rescue Mission. Shopping lists are attached to each shopping bag and the shopping bags can be picked up from CrossRoads. If filling a bag, please bring it back to the church on Sunday, November 24. Thank you!
- Pastor Appreciation: Please stop by the table in the back of the sanctuary to fill out a note of appreciation for Pastor Jesse or Pastor Mark for their devotion to the church this past year, or for Bishop Ron as our interim Pastor.
- Women’s Awareness Seminar: On Saturday, November 16, from 9:00am to noon, there will be a free, basic first aid and safety training for all ladies who are ages 12 and up. Snacks and coffee will be available. You are encouraged to come and bring a friend. You can sign up at the church or call Kelly in the church office to get your name down to attend.
- Children’s Church News: There will not be a teacher in the K-3rd grade class on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month until we are able to find volunteers. Also there will not be a teacher in the 4-6th grade class on the 3rd Sunday. Please contact Theresa or Denise through the church if you pray and feel called to teach God’s children. A background check is required, but the church covers the cost.
*On November 17th the children will be helping decorate a tree in the hallway.
- Everyone is invited: To celebrate the end of the cycle, Celebrate Recovery will be hosting a movie night on Tuesday, December 3, from 6:45pm – about 9:00pm. We will be watching the movie “I Heard the Bells”. Drinks will be provided, but you may bring a snack to share if you would like.
*A new cycle will begin on December 10. This is the perfect time to check out Celebrate Recovery (Tuesday nights at 7pm) and get in on the ground floor.
- Consider this! Have you wanted to share your testimony, but stage fright has gotten the best of you? If so, we got you covered. We now can record your testimony and share it via video on Sunday morning. If you are interested in sharing your testimony in this way, fill out the blue card, mark ‘Testimony’ and write video to the side of it and we will be in touch to get it scheduled to record. Allow others to be blessed and encouraged by your story and most importantly, share so that Jesus will be glorified!!
- Attention Ladies! There is a UFO (unfinished project) meeting on the third Sunday of every month, following the service. Bring your unfinished projects and join us for this time of fellowship.
- Calling all middle and high schoolers! The CrossRoads Messenger Youth Group invites you to youth group on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm. There will be a lesson and fellowship to follow. Throughout the year, they also have fundraisers to make money for lessons and doing special things, like going on fieldtrips.
- You must opt-in to receive test messages. If you would like to receive important text announcements and a weekly link to our complete list of announcements as they are updated, visit your church trac profile and make sure that your mobile phone number is listed in your profile.
