Announcements

  • Who’s ready to ROCK!!!  The Anthems Tour is coming in October and there is a lot to plan for.  If you are able to help in some way, please plan to come to the next meeting on August 4 after the service. This will be  much different than our concert last fall since it is an outdoor/outreach event. There are a number of places that you can help. Let’s get ready to ROCK!
  • Join us! The next potluck lunch is Sunday, August 4, following the service, and will be hosted by the Sunday evening growth group.  We invite you to bring a dish to share and join us for this time of fellowship.
  • Let’s have fun, Ladies!  We are going to kick-off a new year for our Women of Worship (WOW) ministry.  This ministry is for all women who are at least 18 and would like to participate.  On August 17, at 2:00pm, in the multi-purpose room, we will be having an ice-cream social and get to know one another event.  WOW will provide the ice cream, we just ask that you bring a topping.  Your ministry leaders hope to see you there!
  • We hope to see you there!  It’s time again for our annual picnic and baptism at Lakeside Recreational Park in Assaria.  This will take place on August 25.  Like last year, we have reserved the beach side at 2:00pm for swimming and water slides.  We will head over to the shelter side around 5:00 for our picnic.  Bring a chair and a dish to share.  We hope you will join us!
  • Consider this!  Have you wanted to share your testimony, but stage fright has gotten the best of you? If so, we got you covered. We now can record your testimony and share it via video on Sunday morning. If you are interested in sharing your testimony in this way, fill out the blue card, mark ‘Testimony’ and write video to the side of it and we will be in touch to get it scheduled to record. Allow others to be blessed and encouraged by your story and most importantly, share so that Jesus will be glorified!!
  • Attention Ladies!  There is a UFO (unfinished project) meeting on the third Sunday of every month, following the service.  Bring your unfinished projects and join us for this time of fellowship.
  • Calling all middle and high schoolers!  The CrossRoads Messenger Youth Group invites you to youth group on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm.  There will be a lesson and fellowship to follow.  Throughout the year, they also have fundraisers to make money for lessons and doing special things, like going on fieldtrips.
  • Seeking pen pals!  William Higgins, from our congregation, is starting a prison ministry called Pen Pals for Christ.  This ministry is seeking to connect a man from the inside with a pen pal (man) on the outside.  There are currently seven men wanting to participate and are awaiting pen pals.  Please, if you would be willing to take on a pen pal, contact Kelly in the church office at 785-823-0101.

CrossRoads streams a live service on the “CrossRoads Church Salina” YouTube channel (CrossRoads Church Salina) for those who cannot make it to church.  Tune in at 10:00am Sunday mornings.

Giving

Please don’t forget that giving is a part of our genuine worship. Please mail your regular offerings to June Ferguson at the church at 1125 W. South St., Salina KS 67401, drop them by the church during the week, or donate online via Church Trac.
