Announcements

  • Welcome, Newcomers!  You are invited to our next Lunch and Learn which usually takes place on the last Sunday of every month, but in observance of Resurrection Sunday, the next one will be on April 28.  On that day, following our church service, you can stick around, have some pizza, and meet our pastors.  This is an opportunity for you to learn more about our church and ask any questions that you might have.
  • Attention Safety Team! There will be a meeting this Sunday, April 14, following the service.  ALL members should be present, if possible.
  • Attention:  CrossRoads will be hosting a Church Safety Seminar on April 19-20 to bring awareness to the growing trend of violence in our country. This seminar is open to the public and anyone can attend.
    • Friday, April 19 – 7pm – FREE Women’s Safety Seminar – Bring your friends, daughters, co-workers and grandma to this free event in order to learn more about situational awareness.
    • Saturday, April 20 – 8:30a -12:30p – Church Safety Seminar – Cost is $35 per person; learn more or register by going to www.sheepdogsafetytraining.com.
  • Join the fun!  Celebrate Recovery will be having a Fellowship Event on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Sunset Park Shelter #1.  This is a family friendly event.  Hotdogs will be served at 6:00pm.  You may bring a side or a dessert if you choose.  At 6:45pm, we will have worship and a testimony, followed by outdoor games.
  • You are invited!  The CrossRoads Children’s Church teachers will be hosting a potluck lunch on May 5, following the service.  Bring a dish to share and join us for this time of fellowship.
  • Looking for a place to serve here at CrossRoads?  We are needing help in our Audio/Visual Team to run sound and video during our weekly service. If you are interested in learning more and serving in this way, even if you have no experience, fill out the Blue Card and we will get you plugged in.

  • Please note this change! The email addresses for the church offices have changed.  Kelly in the church office has a new email address of kellycarpenter@ruraltel.net and Pastor Jesse has a new email address of jesse_s@ruraltel.net
  • Consider this!  Have you wanted to share your testimony, but stage fright has gotten the best of you? If so, we got you covered. We now can record your testimony and share it via video on Sunday morning. If you are interested in sharing your testimony in this way, fill out the blue card, mark ‘Testimony’ and write video to the side of it and we will be in touch to get it scheduled to record. Allow others to be blessed and encouraged by your story and most importantly, share so that Jesus will be glorified!!
  • Attention Ladies!  There is a UFO (unfinished project) meeting on the third Sunday of every month, following the service.  Bring your unfinished projects and join us for this time of fellowship.
  • Calling all middle and high schoolers!  The CrossRoads Messenger Youth Group invites you to youth group on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm.  There will be a lesson and fellowship to follow.  Throughout the year, they also have fundraisers to make money for lessons and doing special things, like going on fieldtrips.
  • Seeking pen pals!  William Higgins, from our congregation, is starting a prison ministry called Pen Pals for Christ.  This ministry is seeking to connect a man from the inside with a pen pal (man) on the outside.  There are currently seven men wanting to participate and are awaiting pen pals.  Please, if you would be willing to take on a pen pal, contact Kelly in the church office at 785-823-0101.

Church on the Tube

CrossRoads streams a live service on the “CrossRoads Church Salina” YouTube channel (CrossRoads Church Salina) for those who cannot make it to church.  Tune in at 10:00am Sunday mornings.

Giving

Please don’t forget that giving is a part of our genuine worship. Please mail your regular offerings to Alan Warner at the church at 1125 W. South St., Salina KS 67401, drop them by the church during the week, or donate online via Church Trac.
